What is DryEars?

DryEars Swimmer's Ear Prevention Spray formula provides a fast & convenient way to dry out the excess moisture in the ear that can be experienced after showering, bathing, and other aquatic activities.

When sprayed after water exposure, DryEars effectively reaches the ear canal, drying excess moisture and restoring normal pH to prevent microbial growth and inhibit infection.

DryEars is suitable for adults, children 3 years+ and people with removable hearing aids.

Swimmer's Ear (otitis externa) is an infection or inflammation external ear canal.
It can be caused by exposure to water which can collect in the ear canal after any aqutic activities such as bathing, showering, swimming, surfing or diving.

The wet ear canal provides the right environment for fungi and bacteria to grow and cause infection.

Symptoms can include ear pain, itchiness, weakened hearing and redness of the external ear.

Heavy perspiration, prolonged exposure to humid environments, weather or water entering the ear after acquatic activities can cause excess moisture in the ear, which can lead to infection. A wet ear canal is susceptible to dermatitis and tiny cracks in the skin can allow bacteria to enter.

Water in pools and the sea can be contaminated and can expose the ear to high levels of bacteria causing infection.

The use of cotton uds, fingernails or other objects to clean the ear may cause scratches or abrasions in the delicate tissue of the ear canal. This can lead to infection.

Ear devices such as earbuds, hearing aids or even ear phones can cause tiny breaks in the skin which can allow bacteria to enter and lead to infection.

The acidic component of the solution then helps to restore the normal pH of the ear canal. This inhibits microbial growth and can help prevent outer ear infection.
