The Friendly Swede Ferro Rod Fire Starter, 15,000+ Strike Flint and Steel

This The Friendly Swede Ferro Rod Fire Starter, 15,000+ Strike Flint and Steel is a practical addition to any emergency fire starters setup, built for home, travel, and emergency readiness.

Key Features

• Reliable Spark. Every Strike: A rust-free ferrocerium rod that throws a 3,000 °C (5,500 °F) shower of sparks in rain, snow, high altitude and freezing wind - exactly where matches and lighters give up. Two extra-long rods in every pack: one for your bug-out bag, one for the truck, the boat, the cabin.
• 15,000+ Strikes. Built To Last: Each rod is engineered to deliver more than fifteen thousand fires - season after season, kit after kit. Ultra-durable ferrocerium that will not bend or break with normal use, in a long-rod format that lasts where shorter, cheaper rods wear through in a weekend.
• The contoured handle is shaped for a confident, full-hand hold - even with wet gloves or frozen fingers. Easy to grip and easy to produce showers of sparks one-handed in an emergency.
• LIGHTS A FIRE ANYWHERE. Ideal for campfires, BBQs, backyard fire pits and signal fires.
• Two-pack format makes it the thoughtful gift for the camper, hunter, prepper, scout or weekend hiker in your life - one for them, one for their kit-mate. From The Friendly Swede, part of the Gutewerk family of European outdoor essentials.
