Details: The Bristan Echo kitchen tap is a great compliment to any kitchen sink.
Featuring Bristan's updated and improved (2017 onwards) unique and patented EasyFit installation system, the majority of the installation can be carried out above the sink and not all below underneath the sink like other kitchen taps. In addition, all of the components needed to fit the tap are included - the flexible stainless steel braided tap tails, the water isolation valves for connecting between the flexi tails and the 15 mm pipework, 2 different sized allen keys, and a cover shroud for keeping the EasyFit base clean and free from debris during the tiling around the sink, and sealing the sink to the work surface.
The EasyFit base is designed to slot through a hole in the surface of a pre-formed kitchen sink. This system can also be used on thicker substrates - eg. a kitchen worktop, but the base may need disassembling if it won't fit through the hole(easy to do), so that the top and bottom of the base marry up either side of the substrate.
Bristan have ensured that the EasyFit design, and tap design is as reliable as possible. They've been tested to over 100,000 cycles by a 3rd party testing facility - cycling between 5 and 20 bar water pressure.
Bristan have also done their own extensive testing in their UKAS accredited testing lab, to ensure the reliability and robustness of the grub screw connection between the tap and the tap base. It has been tested to over 280,000 usage cycles, that provided it is fitted correctly, confirms there is no movement in the grub screw. In addition the base and tap has been tested to withstand up to 800 lb of force without any issues - in fact the sink deformed in our testing rather than the tap and base connection failing.
The Echo kitchen tap has a bright, solid chrome finish, which is long lasting and easy to clean.
Easy to operate with its large lever type handles. It also includes 1/4 turn ceramic disc cartridges will ensure smooth and consistent operation, and a level of resistance to limescale build up from the way the ceramic discs operate to control the flow of water essentially grinding away any build up over time.
