Details: OWL Intuition-PV is a new OWL product developed to supplement and monitor your solar PV system. OWL Intuition-PV provides real-time access to your power and solar generation via your web browser, smartphone or tablet. The Network OWL Gateway automatically logs all your consumption and generation data securely within the Intelligent Cloud software platform. You can then log in to view your live and historical data, any computer connected anywhere, or access to OWL Intuition-PV on your smartphone with a dedicated iPhone or Android app, both of which are available for free download. The Network OWL Gateway can be easily integrated into your existing broadband router and linked wirelessly to the transmitter and two sensors. The OWL Intuition-PV allows you to monitor how much solar PV electricity is generated, the energy that your house is currently consuming, and how much electricity is imported or exported to the grid. There are two commonly used wiring methods used in the installation of solar PV systems, see the diagrams above. If you have a type 1 system, you just have to buy intuition PV. However, if you have a Type 2 system, you need to buy both Intuition-PV and a Y-Cable Pack.
